Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow (EoT) is a Business Plan Competition for secondary school (Gymnasium) students visiting grades 9 – 13.
Students are encouraged to develop a new business idea individually or in teams of up to four. Entrants compete with students from other schools to produce the best entrepreneurial idea and business plan. Those entering the contest will gain insights into entrepreneurship, startups and business while learning in workshops about marketing, finance, and presentation skills. Workshops are held in Frankfurt am Main.
The competition format provides students with access to mentors who can provide tips to help them prepare their business plan outlining how to take their idea and make it into a successful venture!
Once the business plans are finalized, they are submitted for initial judging. The top five finalists selected are then asked to present their business plan in front of an audience and a panel of judges at the events Awards Ceremony.
A business plan is a road map for getting a project up and running. It documents the steps a business venture will take to become profitable. Milestones and a timeline show whether the plan is on track.
A convincing business plan helps you raise support and money to realize your dream. Whether you are proposing a theater production or a manufacturing plant, you need a plan!
In the Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow program young people can learn what a business plan is, how to prepare the necessary components and key procedures when starting an own business and, as the language of the program is English, all participants learn the key business vocabulary and to communicate and present ideas in business English.
We would like to share with you our sense of initiative and the entrepreneurial spirit vital to today’s global economy. All you have to provide is your own “Get up and Go-spirit”!
